WELLNESS & STRESS MANAGEMENT

Everyone experiences stress at some point. It might come from work, relationships, or major life changes. A little stress can push us to do better, but too much can harm our physical and mental health. If you feel overwhelmed, know that you are not alone.

Start managing stress by noticing early signs of stress and building healthy habits. The

S.T.R.E.S.S. model can help, with steps like Stop, Think, Resources, Evaluate, Solutions, and Support Systems. Each one offers a simple way to handle stress every day.

  • S is for Stop. Take a moment to pause, breathe, and give yourself a break from stressful thoughts.

  • T is for Think. Pay attention to your thoughts and reframe them if they are not helpful. For example, instead of thinking "I can't handle this," say "I can take it one step at a time."

  • R is for Resources. Think about people or tools that can support you, like helpful apps, trusted friends, hotlines, going for a walk, or changing your plans.

  • E is for Evaluate. Take a moment to look at your options and choose what feels most helpful right now. Trust your judgment and celebrate any step forward. Sharing what worked can help others, too!

  • S is for Support Systems. Reach out to friends, family, coworkers, or online groups when you need help. Connecting with others can improve your well-being, and everyone deserves support.

  • S is for Solutions. Reach out to friends, family, coworkers, or online groups when you

need help. Connecting with others can improve your well-being, and everyone deserves support.
